First of all the IS a CLEVO machine. Not that that is bad, as I have a P870TM from several years ago and it has been great. Build is all plastic, but that is OK. It is solid. The keyboard felt a little cramped but otherwise was fine, as was the track pad. The screen is good too. It doesn't drop to 60 hz automatically when unplugging so you may want to do that manually to save battery life. It does not have advanced optimus or Gsync but it has a mux switch so after a reboot you can switch between hybrid and dGPU mode. The difference in frame rate between the two is 10%, so you get 5080 performance in hybrid mode. My initial problem came with games in Ubisoft connect. Ubisoft would crash every time. So reset the machine and then I could no longer access the control center, where you can change power profiles etc. Initially I couldn't find it on their website - if you search under windows 11 it is not listed, but search under all windows versions it is there. Anyway, I sent them a message on their website and got no response. So if you have a service issue forget Thunderobot to help. Perhaps PConline will help but I've seen many bad reviews for them. So I installed the control center and thought everything was good, but alas, when you switch between hybrid and dGPU mode windows would always ask me to sign in and do the 2 factor authentication to just log in and this was a drag. It does have windows hello camera which I liked. The machine ran cool, generally in the low 80s for the CPU and GPU and fan noise was OK too. Speakers were average.
