    A thriller strong on suspense

This movie is about a group of men going on a heist, only we watch the story of the men holding the hostages, and not of the actually Heist. The men have kidnapped the wife and stepson to get access to the vault. Only the boys girlfriend is hiding in the house. We watch her try to escape and help her boyfriend and his mom. I found this movie to be very suspenseful and enjoyable!

    Home Intrusion Thriller

Kaya Scodelario has definitely grown since her stint on the UK Skins show. She is a capable lead actress. If you watch the netflix show Hemlock Grove then you are also familiar with Dougray Scott. This film has some tense moments and a fair plot structure.

    ok at best

I'm really not a fan of this movie, it was a blind buy for me. The 12.99 price point was the deal sealer for me, maybe my expectations was too high . If you really want to watch this I suggest red box it first. It's an ok movie at best

The Red House - BLU-RAY

Lovers of film noir have long treasured this eerie gem, produced during what has come to be regarded as Hollywood's classic noir period (early-1940s to late-1950s). Edward G. Robinson plays an aging farmer with a dark secret he's trying to keep hidden. He and his sister Ellen (Judith Anderson) have raised Meg (Allene Roberts) since she was a little girl, after her parents mysteriously disappeared. But now Meg is coming of age, and bringing a male friend from high school around to help with chores on the farm. The teens are warned against wandering into the nearby woods, where terrifying screams have been heard in the night emanating from an abandoned red house. But curiosity threatens to get the better of them. Director Delmer Dave's enjoyed a successful, 35-year career in Hollywood as a producer, director and writer (he adapted this particular story from a novel first serialized in the Saturday Evening Post in 1945). Better-known for tough westerns and war movies (including 3 10 to Yuma, Broken Arrow and Destination Tokyo), this film was an interesting diversion for him. But credit is also due to cinematographer Bert Glannon, a veteran of numerous noir/crime titles (not to mention work with such acclaimed directors as John Ford and Cecil B DeMille), who was responsible for executing the sort of unexpected camera angles and shadowy lighting that would become the signature of a good film noir. Meanwhile, viewers will also want to watch for a young Julie London, appearing in one of her earliest film roles.

Joy House - BLU-RAY

A scorching love triangle ignites between the iconic Jane Fonda (Klute, Coming Home), sultry Lola Albright (Kid Galahad, Lord Love a Duck) and Alain Delon (The Sicilian Clan, Un Flic) in Rene Clement's Joy House (Les Felins). Delon stars as Marc, a dashing young con man on the run from the mob. After seeking refuge in the Riviera villa of the widowed Barbara (Albright) and her curvaceous cousin, Melinda (Fonda), Marc becomes trapped in the passionate snares of both women, who are full of sinister surprises. A neglected masterpiece from director Rene Clement (Forbidden Games, Is Paris Burning?, Rider on the Rain, And Hope to Die), Joy House weaves a wicked web of hidden desires and all-too-human corruptions. Lalo Schifrin (Coogan's Bluff) provides the eerie musical score; Henri Decae (Le Samourai) serves up the sumptuous cinematography.
