Tops - Tender Opposites - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2009 from the Scottish indie legends, their first album in six years. The Pastels spearheaded the Anorak-Pop phenomena and were one of the most enduring and influential bands of their era; their wistful, primitive Pop making a mark on everyone from Sleater Kinney to Nirvana, Sonic Youth, the Vaselines, Belle And Sebastian, Jesus And Mary Chain and countless others. Two Sunsets finds them collaborating with kindred spirits, Japanese Indie Pop duo Tenniscoats, for 12 tracks of truly splendid, pretty, melodic Pop tunes. Pure simple colorful happiness for your ears. Geographic. Album Tracks 1. Tokyo Glasgow 2. Two Sunsets 3. Song for a Friend 4. Vivid Youth 5. Yomigaeru 6. Modesty Piece 7. About You 8. Boats 9.
