A: Yes, simply connect the router to your existing Internet source (i.e., modem) via Ethernet cable. WiFi range will vary depending on placement of the router, which WiFi band you connect to, and physical obstructions between the router and your connecting device(s). Central placement for the router is typically ideal for most scenarios.
Q: Is this compatible with Xfinity?
A: Yes - however since it is a router, it will need to be connected to an existing, separate cable modem via Ethernet cable.
