Finally, the first of five reissues from the Hollywood, California Pentagram tag. This album was produced by Al Schmitt, who also produced the Jefferson Airplane's InchAfter Bathing at Baxter's,Inch InchCrown of Creation,Inch InchBless It's Pointed Little Head,Inch and InchVolunteersInch as well as Gear Fab's InchIvoryInch (GEA #182). This classic 1970 album featured fluid guitar and vocal harmonies much in the vein of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young with heavy influences of the Grateful Dead. Seven of the eight compositions were by Michael Woods, who later played with America. The final track InchReno, NevadaInch, was penned by Richard Farina. The reissue tracks are 1) Just a Number 2) Last Cigarette 3) Anytime Soon 4) Flyin' Dudley Waltz 5) We Don't Even Know 6) All Gone Blues Act II 7) Cowboy Song 8) Reno, Nevada. Album Tracks 1. Limited vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Mirage is the 13th studio album by Fleetwood Mac, released on June 18, 1982. This studio effort found the band venturing further into radio-friendly soft rock than it had in any of it's previous incarnations. It stood in stark contrast to it's more experimental predecessor, 1979's Tusk. Mirage yielded several hit singles InchHold MeInch (which peaked at #4 on the US Billboard Pop Chart, remaining there for seven weeks), InchGypsyInch (#12 US Pop Chart), InchLove in StoreInch (#22 US Pop Chart), InchOh DianeInch (which reached #9 in the UK), and finally, InchCan't Go BackInch (issued on 7Inch and 12Inch in the UK). The album returned the group to the top of the US Billboard charts for the first time since their 1977 album Rumours, spending five weeks at #1. It spent a total of 18 weeks in the US Top Ten and was certified double platinum for shipping 2, 000, 000 copies there.
