I love these headphones. They have done great for me and my shooters. I can totally tell which direction someone else is to my side or behind me, great awareness overall. Easy to connect and holds a charge for multiple days, even if on for 5+ hours. I would recommend these to any one and entrance or intermediate level gaming.

Works as intended, USB dongle can go between ps5 to pc Easily. Flip down mic works well and can have custom audio setting with a few button presses. Solid headphone without braking the bank.

My controller runs out of batter before my headset does which is incredible

Ive had these for exactly 2 months and the mic jig broke into pieces. The sound quality was great, the connection is spot on and the distance you can go is nice. Just hate that it broke so soon

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Max is of good value and works great. I like that it comes in ready to plug and play. It is convenient because I can use the headset with my PS my PC and my Laptop as well. The quality of the sound is superb; the 50mm speakers do give out the 3D audio for the PS5, I like how easy it is to raise the volume or lower on the left ear with the knob, also the volume of the mic is right next to it so it is easy for that too and it is also clear. The mic can be easily put away and be on mute when it is flipped. The headset is comfortable, it has plenty of padding on the ears as well as padding on top, I’ve worn them for a few hours and they are comfortable. Speaking of hours of use, the battery does last a long time and when it needs to be charged the USB C cable can charge the headset. The headset is lag free, I have walked away with the Stealth Headset and came back to the room and I am still connected. A plus is the easy access to audio presets, The Bass Boost, Signature Sound, Treble Boost and Vocal Boost, these are really useful depending on what I am listening to. The headset is of good value and the only thing to look out for is how much you stretch the headset, the construction is of hard plastic so just know that if you pull them apart too much, they can break just like any other set. I really like how well the set isolates the noise, loud and comfortable.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX is a terrific headset for PlayStation users, whether you have a PS4 or were able to catch a PS5 out in the jungle somewhere. I was one of them, so my review will also mention how well the 3D Audio works with this headset. Spoiler: it works great! The Stealth 600 G2 MAX headset is comfortable, practical and adjustable. Before putting it on your head, you can adjust it on both sides. Once that’s done, all you have to do is to plug in the USB wireless transmitter into your console and turn the headset on. If you’re using it on a PlayStation or Nintendo Switch (I don’t own one), you’ll be using the PS setting. On a PC, you’ll be using the PC setting. If you own an Xbox, you need to look at the Xbox version of this headset, which is also really good. Once connected, and the headset is on, you’re good to go. The default audio setting is great, and you have four modes to choose from: 1. Normal. 2. Extra bass. 3. Extra bass and treble. 4. Vocal boost. I prefer 1 and 2, but it’s all about preference. The vocal boost sounds like a slight mid-band frequency boost. To change this setting, all you have to do is push the Mode button once to switch to the next. You’ll hear 1 to 4 beeps, depending on the mode you’re on. But wait, there’s more… if you press the power button while the headset is on, you can activate the Superhuman Hearing sound setting, which adds more mid frequencies and perhaps compresses the sound more so that you hear quieter sounds more easily. This will allow you to hear enemy reloads and footsteps easier. Even though it delivers on its promise, I preferred to have this mode turned off, because it sounds more “cinematic” with it off, but… if you’re a fan of turn-based game modes, you might perform better with this on, as you’ll hear “everything” the enemy does, perfect for clutch situations. You have two volume controls. One for the game/chat and one for the mic monitoring. This is different than the Xbox version that separates the game and chat volumes. Having a dedicated mic monitor level is actually pretty neat, because this headset does block a good amount of background noise, including your voice, so it’s nice to turn yourself up a little when needed, so you’re not shouting by yourself or to your teammates. The wireless connection is solid. The sound is clear and consistent with no dropouts, latency or audio interference. The battery can last up to 48 hours, which is twice as much as the Xbox version. The mic can be muted by being pushed back into its resting position, or actually about halfway, so if you quickly need a slurp from that Mountain Dew and a bite of those Doritos, you can do it without bothering your squad. If you own a PS5, you can take advantage of the 3D Audio feature. Without it, it’ll sound like a regular stereo headset, but with it, it adds more depth. It’s almost like you’re really there. This depends on the game of course, but it certainly adds to the immersion. This needs to be activated and adjusted in the PS5 audio settings for optimal results. If you’re a streamer, please keep this in mind. The PS5, just like the PS4, does not allow you to split the audio signal, meaning that you cannot use a USB headset while recording/streaming the audio from the game through HDMI. This is not Turtle Beach’s fault, but it’s essential to know that you can’t capture the game sound while using this or any other wireless headset on a PS5. I’m only pointing this out, because you can on an Xbox, and it’s super convenient. In fact, the Xbox headset I use for streaming is a Stealth 600 Gen 2. The last thing I want to point out is… you should definitely get the MAX version of this headset, because of its compatibility with PC. The non-MAX version will only work on PlayStation and Nintendo. Whether you’re gaming on a PC or not, it doesn’t hurt to have that as a possibility. You can’t go wrong with this headset. It’s comfortable after hours of use, sounds great and lasts a really long time. So what are you waiting for?!

Let me just start by saying I did receive this through the Tech Insider Program, but it did not influence me in any way. I have over 5 gaming head sets, for PC, PS5, Xbox X, so I have various base lines for comparison depending on different systems. I used this on the PC, and compared it to the Arctis Wireless Pro, and I felt the Turtle beach sound was very crisp, and rich. The highs and mids were very clear, very precise, from Spotify, to gaming… I felt very immersed. The sound stage was realistic and full, I can more or less hear and pinpoint foot steps in COD/Overwatch and able to locate my targets with high accuracy, the same as with my Arctis Wireless Pro in terms of accuracy, but with clearer mids/highs. The bass was a little bit of a miss, but with some adjustments you can improve it tremendously. My only complaint is the range, I felt distortion and static after just 30 feet or so, which is inferior to most of my other headsets, including the Arctis Wireless Pro. However I don't plan to be further than that most of the time (ie grabbing a drink from the fridge). This headset's performance is great for this price range. I find it great value to price. Another fine product from Turtle Beach
