About this product
The Twilight is an indie pop-rock band from Cleveland, Ohio that creates a straight forward, multi-faceted sound influenced primarily by classic American and British rock music. The band's sound is uniquely diverse with an array of comparisons to the likes of Donovan, Badfinger, The Raspberries, and Blur. On stage, the band evokes an image of rock's glorious past while forging an exciting new path of their own. Throw into the mix a little 1970's glitter, a dose of New Wave, add some indie-rock sensibility - all packed into three to four minute pop gems - and you'll get the idea of what The Twilight is all about. The trio began it's odyssey in the winter of 2003. The current line-up includes founding member, Tony Bunce (vocals, guitar, keyboards) as well as Ryan Kearney (bass guitar, vocals), and Greg Hyland (drums, vocals). Ryan joined the band following the tragic death of co-founding member Matthew Schulte and is happy to be part of the band he admired as a fan. Veteran drummer Greg Hyland left notable indie-pop band Kiddo and joined The Twilight in March of 2004. The Twilight released it's debut, five song EP in August of 2004 through the independent tag, Van Gogh Round Records (The Dreadful Yawns). The limited pressing EP has since sold out. The band has recently recorded eleven songs intended for a full length CD . The disc has been dubbed, InchTempest In A TeapotInch and was recorded by Don Depew (Guided By Voices, New Bomb Turks) and mastered by David Donnelly (Beck, Aerosmith, Jimmy Eat World). The date for the disc was June 30, 2007 and has garnered nothing but rave press reviews thus far.
