This is one of my favorite westerns with one of my favorite actors (Client Eastwood). It has several funny parts and a very good storyline with of course a few fun fight scenes. Definitely a keeper!!

They did a great job remastering this. The picture is wonderful. The movie is very entertaining. Shirley Mclaine is great in this movie.

Clint Eastwood saves the girl(nun) and falls for her, but she is a nun so it doesn't work out until the dramatic ending

Nice upgrade in picture quality and decent extras. Worth it for the upgrade if you are hard core fan of Eastwood.

As far as Eastwood's post Spaghetti movies, he's rarely been in better form than this.This film is a nice change of pace for a Clint Eastwood Western.Well directed, well paced, good story, good acting and it stars a nun and a cowboy.Eastwood as always is cool and a great screen presence, and MacClaine is slightly unrecognisable but a good co-star.

ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CLINT EASTWOOD WESTERNS. LOVE THE ACTING BETWEEN HIM AND SHIRLEY MacLANE. HE IS A DRIFTER THAT RESCUES A NUN WHO IS BEING ATTACKED BY A LOCAL GANG WHO COME TO FIND OUT IS ONLY POSING TO BE A NUN. THE PAIR TEAMS UP TO RESIST THE FRENCH OCCUPATION OF MEXICO
