About this product

When we use the terms InchGreek traditional,Inch InchGrek folk,Inch or InchGreek demoticInch music today, we mean songs and tunes coming from the past, from areas that were home to Christian farmers, shepherds and sailors during the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. Mostly- though not exclusively- Greek speaking, these populations lived, as was normal then, in close proximity with other ethnic, linguistic, or religious groups. In these areas, some of which now form modern-day Greece, the oral tradition of folk song and ecclesiastical music were the only available forms of musical expression. This album is the highly anticipated re- of the 1980 album of the same name, extended with tracks licensed from the Domna Samiou Greek Folk Music Association. Domna Samiou (1928-2012) was a charismatic and multifaceted personality who dedicated her life to a quest which is now synonymous with her name the preservation, dissemination and teaching of Greek traditional InchfolkInch music. The horror-metal masters' heaviest album Two years after the mighty concept album InchCarpathia - A Dramatic PoemInch, The Vision Bleak are back with InchThe Wolves Go Hunt Their PreyInch - stronger and more diverse than ever before. On their third album, you will find songs that definitely rank among the heaviest The Vision Bleak have ever written; yet at the same time you'll also find some of their most atmospheric and most stringent tracks. 'The Demon Of The Mire', for example, exposes the Death Metal roots of the Franconian duo as plainly as never before; 'The Black Pharaoh Trilogy' reminds us of the epic dimensions of their previous album; and, by virtue of it's sweeping character, 'By Our Brotherhood With Seth' has become The Vision Bleak's band anthem and the high point of every concert. Album Tracks 1. Amala & Kamala 2. She-Wolf 3. The Demon of the Mire 4. The Black Pharaoh Trilogy Introduction 5. The Black Pharaoh Trilogy Part I The Shining Trapezohedron 6.
