Various Artists - Sonorama - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

This substantial proposes to address the cultural and political news of the years 1958-1962, retracing the history of the Sonorama magazine, an unprecedented media experience that during it's short existence has made the phonographic medium a vector of information. Jean-Baptiste Mersiol has selected archives that highlight how, over the four years of existence of this sound magazine, France was going through a pivotal and dense period from the advent of the Fifth Republic, to the emergence of Yeyes, the war in Algeria, the building of the Berlin wall, and the first man in space.
