A perfect movie. Wonderfully shot. Beautifully scored. All on a gorgeous 4k scan!

Film buffs can argue about whether Vertigo ranks as Alfred Hitchcock's finest film, but everyone will agree this haunting study of obsession, transformation, and betrayal is the crown jewel in Universal's Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection. Eye candy can't begin to describe the breathtakingly beautiful 4K UHD HDR10 presentation that immerses us in the intrigue that engulfs a retired San Francisco police detective when an old college buddy asks him to tail his mentally disturbed wife. James Stewart and Kim Novak ignite the screen, but Hitchcock is the true star of this elegant thriller that celebrates the director's ingenuity and artistry. The new DTS:X track supplies potent audio and all the extras from previous Blu-rays have been ported over to this release. Vertigo is an enduring masterpiece, and though you may have seen it before, you've never seen it like this. Must Own.

It's wonderful to have VERTIGO released in 4K Ultra HD. Hitchcock's masterpiece has never looked or sounded better, and almost all the features from previous versions are included. Having the digital copy is very nice also. No matter if you've seen the film 50 times or this is your first viewing (and I'm jealous if it is), this is definitely worth the upgrade to 4K.

I had never seen this film and purchased on a whim to test out on a new Panasonic Blu-Ray player and Sony A80J to see how an older film would looked upscaled. Looks absolutely fantastic and better than many of my modern Blu-Rays. The special features were a nice addition. Picture quality aside, the movie blew my mind.... its the kind of film that sits with you long after viewing and was very ahead of its time.

Never saw this movie before. It is a great WhoDunIt that will keep you interested even though Hitchcock tells you the ending 3/4 of the way through the movie. Fun to watch the first time. It was extensively restored and is great quality for old movie.

Hitch's haunting masterpiece has never looked or sounded better than it does on this 4K. I thought the Blu-ray was hard to improve upon, but they did it. So good, my head's still spinning!

A first rate 4K print of Vertigo. It's looks fantastic. The extras are the same as on the blu-ray, but this is a good update.

Very glad you maintain an inventory of dvd / blue ray / 4k movies, despite streaming technology, and am especially glad when I see among your inventory old chestnuts from the 1930 through 1970’s era.

Just watched this tonight with my oldest son. Of course this is vintage Hitchcock. Who else take a guy with a fear of heights and a beautiful lady and turn it into a movie with murder, mystery, and intrigue. On my list of top 5 movie directors (Hitchcock) of all time. Hail to the chief.

Great Movie when it work I got a bad copy had too watch it digitally but great movie had no more copies in store !!
