About This Item

The 800 cfm – 12-amp Electric Turbine Blower is, quite simply, the most powerful electric blower in the marketplace. Other 800 cfm (Cubic Feet per Minute) blowers don’t put out wind power at 135 mph. Physics shouldn’t allow it, but our engineers found a workaround. And even though you’re going to want to blow at that speed all the time, you can use the variable speed control to dial it down. When you need even more power than the 800 cfm/135 mph can provide, there’s the Hyper-Stream nozzle that focuses all the airflow right where you need it. Believe it or not, all that power can be controlled with one hand. The whole unit is only 6.6 lbs., and that amazing Turbine tech creates a wind tunnel that is easy to point. The cord retainer keeps extension cords from pulling apart, even on snags. And you don’t need any tools to put it together. Time to go clear that lawn.

Q: What is the maximum air speed of the blower?

A: The maximum air speed of the WG521 blower is 135 miles per hour.

Q: What is the weight of the blower?

A: The product weight is 6.65 pounds.

Q: Can the blower be assembled without tools?

A: This blower can be assembled without any tools.

Q: Does the blower come with a Hyper-Stream nozzle?

A: The Hyper-Stream nozzle focuses the blower's airflow where you need it.

Q: What is the length of the blower's cord?

A: The cord length of the blower is 11.5 feet.

Q: I received the blower and it did not have a extension cord was it suppose to come with 1 ?

A: Hello Candy. Thank you for your question. No, Worx does not produce extensions cords and they would need to be bought separately. Please refer to the cord sizing chart to ensure you are using the proper cord. Thank you for choosing Worx!

Q: What kind of extension cord do you need to buy for this? Is it a two prong or a three prong

A: It is a two prong plug however, it is imperative that you use a 14ga wire extension cord that is good for 15 amps. The blower draws 12 amps at 120VAC. If you use a very long 16ga wire cord you will suffer voltage loss which will increase the amperage and potentially burn up the motor prematurely.

Q: Does the hyper stream nozzle increase the mph?

A: Yes, but only slightly because the nozzle is not an attachment but part of the unit. It decreases the exit diameter less than one inch which does not sacrifice CFM.

Get Blown Away by This 135mph Blower!

How do you clean up all that grass that makes it on to the driveway and sidewalks after mowing/edgeing? Well, I used to use a broom to sweep some of it off the concrete. This was very ineffective as it took a lot of time and did little. This is an area in which the Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM corded blower comes to the rescue. Using speeds up to 135mph, the Worx TURBINE 800 CFM corded blower had no trouble displacing the grass into the street and off our walkways and/or driveway. What a difference the Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM made! Despite being corded, a long extension cord will go a long way to blow leaves, grass and even drying off the car after a wash (very effective drying)! Another upside of the being corded is that you won’t run out of battery power or gas. A blower with these kinds of features is absolutely worth having a cord. The speed wheel for the Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM “rolls” in-between position 1 (70mph) through position 2 (135mph) with just your finger. This allows the "variable rate of speed" to be consistent and constant. The powerful blower is surprising, especially when you use it for the first time. It can be controlled by just one hand, but it has a kick to it (good thing). It weighs only weighs a surprisingly 6.6 lbs! As stated, before you can control it with just one hand/arm. With this kind of power, you don’t need to be really close to the objects you are blowing. The Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM (blowing up to 800 Cubic Feet per Minute) performs so well because of its inspiration from a jet turbine. The turbine is the reason it is more powerful than battery powered or most gas-powered blowers. With this kind of performance, I don’t mind that it is corded. An additional piece at the end of the blower a “cord retainer” ties up the electrical cord, keeping from getting in the way of the turbine. The Turbine is also relatively quiet at 92dB. I wore ear buds just to be safe when blowing debris (protective eye too). The Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM comes with a removable rugged directional “Hyper-Stream” nozzle for guiding the air flow. This helps you can control where you want to blow the debris. This is especially nice when (per first example) when blowing grass off the concrete, making things neat and clean looking. Fall time when those leaves need to be raked, the Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM with the directional nozzle will work well to move those leaves into a pile for bagging. I thought I would test it on a garden flag, to see how much the flag was going to wavier in the wind from the blower. Setting it to the 2nd setting (135mph) and standing around 7 feet back from the flag, I turned on the Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM. The garden flag went from being still and vertical to flying fiercely horizontal. This blower is the real deal. You don’t even have to be close for it to move debris out of your way. I was very impressed the Worx 12 Amp TURBINE 800 CFM. The powerful blowing speed of 135mph, but also the lower speeds because not all work needs to be done at full blast. I really like the fact it’s corded. This is an advantage over gas (having to refill the blower) and battery (runs out of charge) options. The balance (Front to Back) of the blower allows for the use of one hand to control all that power. All in all, this is a great a tech piece of equipment for many uses.

    Light, compact and powerful blower

The Work WG521 blower is a good product to use at home or at a place of business. It’s a corded blower made of hard sturdy plastic, a bit bulky but compact, rated at 12 amps with variable speeds of up to 135 mph and 800 cubic feet per minute according to the manufacturer. Setting the blower is quick and easy; it requires only one step which is to connect the blowing tube to the machine. Once properly installed, the tube can only be removed by pressing the release button. The short power plug is wide enough to accommodate most outdoor extension cords. There’s a clever plastic extension cord retainer that makes it easier to drag and control the connected extension cord; a minor issue I had with the retainer was to loop the thick heavy duty cord through the narrow opening. Operating the blower is easy. The handle is well placed making the blower well balanced and comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The power switch also operates as the speed switch; you roll it progressively forward to increase the speed and vice versa. I would rate the noise as medium loud; on several occasions I was able to hold a phone conversation through earphones while using the blower and the people on the other side of the line were able to hear me with no major issues. This blower weighs around 6 pounds and makes blowing leaves and debris a breeze. It is much lighter than the two cordless blowers that I own, and it has more power, making any cleanup task shorter and more comfortable. Having a cord can be a disadvantage in certain conditions but around a house or a business this one would be my preferred blower. With its light weight, tolerable noise and good amount of power, this blower is ideal for home use and businesses with small to moderate outdoor spaces. Not the best choice for landscaping companies since it’s corded, but it’s comfortable and easy to use and has no need for gas or recharge. Happy with my experience so far.

    Powerful and Useful Blower

As the Fall season descends on the Northwest and the leaves drop from the trees, there really is no better time to look at buying a leaf blower to keep the yard tidy for the upcoming holidays. I tried the Worx 12 amp corded blower, which uses a turbine blower to generate air flow from 75mph up to 135mph. Performance wise there’s no complaints, you plug it in and flip the switch and air blows out. Flip the switch more and you get more air to move your leaves or debris off the lawn. There’s only three settings: off, low, and high but the low got the job done and the high more than handled my yard. The nozzle is wide and sturdy, it held up to being fought over by my kids and being dropped when they got tired of it, so I don’t think you’ll need to worry about it breaking like a vacuum cleaner attachment might. While a corded blower doesn’t mean you have the easiest time clearing your yard, it’s very lightweight and easy to handle given what it’s putting out. There’s a cord clip on the plug so you can manage the extension cord without much trouble, if you don’t want to just hold it out of your own way. The WG521 blower cleared my yard quickly with minimal extra passes over the same spot multiple times, so the job was faster and easier than other blowers I’ve used. Bonus, my kids thought it was cool to yell quotes from James Cameron’s sci-fi masterpiece “Aliens” so they took over to finish the backyard so it’s got that appeal to the younger generation and 80s action movie nerds…whatever that’s worth! In short, it’s corded so you do have to make sure you have a long enough extension cord and keep track of it as you go along, but the output is terrific. If you need a blower with plenty of air flow this is a great option to consider, it clears your yard quickly and efficiently.

    Powerful, Electric

I have owned some blowers in my past, some electric, some fuel powered. This blower has surpassed my expectations since I began using it this month. As fall approaches I was getting a little anxious with the amount of leaves and raking I would have to do. Having this blower changed my mind completely. Firstly, the only minorly annoying thing about this blower is that it is not battery powered, but rather its corded... so hauling around an extension cable is to be expected. It even comes with a cord attachment to assure notching comes unplugged by accident. The power that blows from this machine is beyond what I have experience with my past blowers, especially the gas ones. My forearms have been getting a workout keeping it level with the ground since being to use it! Powering up is a breeze as the thumb dial has only 2 settings. Assembly only requires one piece to be attached too. the tube. The handle is comfortable as older blowers I have used were a bit ridged. Upon firing up, please note that the on button is a dial, not a switch... this was confusing for a whole 10 seconds. All in all, this blower, is super powerful, easy to assemble and is built well. I would recommend this model to anyone looking to expedite the fun yard work that the seasons bring.

WORX - WG509 12 Amp TRIVAC 350CFM Corded Blower and Vaccum or Mulcher - Black
4.6(43)

The Worx 350 cfm – 12A Electric TRIVAC Blower/Vac is your 3-in-1 complete leaf and debris clearing system. Blow the leaves into a pile, flip the switch and suck them up and mulch them into the collection bag, and dump it for compost or collection. It takes a chore that often lasts all afternoon and makes it go much quicker. It takes 18 bags worth of leaves and chops it down into 1 with its powerful two-stage metal impeller and shredder blades. If a leaf blower is better than a rake, the TRIVAC is better than a regular ol’ leaf blower. You don’t even need to switch out tubes to change between functions. You just flip a switch. And that tube is angled so you can get under patio furniture and the deck without having to squat or get on your hands and knees. And even though this machine blows out air between 80 and 210 mph, it weighs less than 10 lbs and has been engineered to be operated with just one hand. That means almost anyone can use it to clean up the yard or blow out the driveway. The collection bag technically holds 1.2 Bushels of yard waste, but again, with the 18:1 mulcher, that’s going to be 18x more leaves than if you were raking or blowing the traditional way. Stop making yard work such a chore, and grab yourself a TRIVAC 3-in-1 Blowing, Vacuuming & Mulching System.
