I purchased an open box watch which I thought I would never do but so far, I haven't had any problems with the open box and even though it wasn't a huge savings, it was enough to cause me to get the 3 series instead of the 2. I bought this watch to replace a broken fitbit and I am so glad I did because it so perfectly pairs with my mac air, iphone 7 and ipad I own. I was surprised by friends that say they don't use many of the features on the watch because I am 60 (supposedly older people don't understand tech stuff) and I use so many features on this watch. I recommend you go online, download the instruction manual (over 300 pages) use the table of contents to skim what you don't think you'll need and read the parts you might use. In addition to all of the sport tracking features I love the little things, I can ping my phone (which I am always losing), it automatically opens my mac air, I can silent my phone without taking it out of my purse, I can see who is calling me and send a short response without taking my phone out of my purse, I can set up my clock face to my specifications so that I can see the time without my reading glasses or know what time it is in Dublin where my son lives. I can quickly make it waterproof before I wash dishes or bath the dog and if I want I can wear it when I swim laps at the YMCA but I haven't tried that yet. I guess you can tell I love this watch.

Apple discontinued "Rose Gold" for Series 3 watches. But they changed the "Gold" color from the Series 2. My wife and I both like the new Series 3 Gold. It's somewhere between Gold and Rose Gold. And the wristband is a better Pink. The actual watch is, of course, awesome! She got the one without Cellular (with Cellular you will have to pay $10/mo to your cell phone provider for the watch). You will get all the same features on the regular Series 3 watch that the Cellular one has. The only difference is that Cellular will let you leave your phone at home or in the car and you will still be able to receive calls and texts on your watch. But most people don't need that.

The Apple Watch Series 3, in its radiant gold hue and 38mm size, is a testament to both style and functionality. This timepiece seamlessly blends into my daily routine, offering a perfect balance of design and features. The gold aluminum finish exudes sophistication, making it a versatile accessory for any occasion. The 38mm size strikes a harmonious balance between a sleek profile and a display that remains comfortably readable. It effortlessly complements both casual and more formal outfits, adding a touch of elegance to my wrist. In terms of functionality, the Series 3 remains a reliable companion. The crisp OLED Retina display ensures clear visibility of notifications, fitness metrics, and watch faces. While it may not boast the latest features of newer models, it excels in the essentials – tracking daily activities, heart rate monitoring, and delivering timely alerts. The watchOS ecosystem provides a seamless experience, allowing easy customization of watch faces and quick access to essential apps. The water-resistant design ensures peace of mind during workouts or unexpected rain showers. The battery life is commendable, easily lasting a full day on a single charge. Whether tracking workouts, receiving notifications, or simply checking the time, the Series 3 keeps up with my daily demands without missing a beat. While it may lack some advanced features of newer Apple Watch models, the Series 3 remains a reliable and stylish companion. Its timeless design, coupled with Apple's attention to detail, makes it a valuable addition to my daily ensemble, proving that sometimes, classic simplicity is the key to enduring elegance.

I’m the one that always opted out to getting the Apple Watch. I thought it was pointless until now. I love this watch. It’s so convenient, simple to setup, and easy to use. It beats always having to pick up your iPhone to respond to messages. It’s the best! Oh yeah, don’t be silly like me by making a second trip to Best Buy asking for a larger band because it comes in the box. Lol. The watch comes with the smaller band already on it and the large band is in the box. Also, I went with the 38mm because the 42mm was too big for my wrist. The 38mm is a perfect fit. I’m still exploring the watch and loving it!

I got this as a birthday present and I LOVEE it! I am able to track my activity throughout the day, how many calories I’ve burned in a workout and even text through it when I am too lazy to pick up my phone. Everything about it is amazing except for the casing color. On the photographs the casing looked gold but in person, it looked more of a rose gold color. I was disappointed on that part because I really wanted a bright gold to match with the different bands. The color won’t stop me from wearing it everyday however!
