    Heavy Vinyl-Classic Rocker

This is actually my first NEW LP that I've ever bought. Don't get me wrong here, I've got over 100 used LP's in my vinyl collection. I thought I would try out one of these brand new ones and it seemed fitting in the wake of this artists recent passing that I buy one of his best ever releases. If you have never heard of Tom Petty than I can only tell you that it is very much steeped in classic rock so if you like the Byrds, Beatles, Kinks, etc. you may dig this music made in the U.S.A. by Americans. I will just comment on the product moving forward so I was hoping for over twenty bucks I would get a gate-fold out of the deal but no dice. I was a little disappointed about that but not a deal-breaker for me. The LP itself seemed at least twice as heavy as most LP's. Very high quality and felt like it would last forever. I'm not sure why they did not give me a protective sleeve for it. I will most certainly buy one for it. The inside sleeve is just cardboard but has some good album photos so they get a point or two for that. So really my only complaint is that they should have provided a protective sleeve to boot but I guess I will have to shell out a little more for one. Still, I am happy with my purchase. This LP is unique in my collection.

Pressed on 180 gram vinyl at RTI. Mastered from the original analog master tapes by Kevin Grey at Acoustech Mastering. Features all original packaging. Highlights include 'Caravan', 'Into the Mystic' and 'Moondance'.
