I am not going to be a spoiler and get into details, but i can tell you this, movies most of the time don't show the whole thruth of our life. But this movie will make you valor what you have and understand the harsh reality in which many of our fellow human beings are confronted, each day. A reality which sometimes we acknowledge it exists, but including myself we turn the sight somewhere else as if misery will go away magically.

Amazing movie! Not sure how anyone could watch this one and still have dry eyes at the end. Wonderfully told story about a girl's inner city struggles that turn out to be an all out nightmare. Lee Daniels (one of the TV show creators for Empire) delivers a very Oscar worthy (and winning) experience.

A very sad yet real movie that holds a lot of meaning and has been one of my favorite movies to watch every now and again. Beautiful film and I'm glad to be able to own it now.

Such a great film. I saw this years ago when it first came out. I am glad to finally own it.

This movie is not for the faint of heart. It can get a little depressing at times. Great Performances from Gabourey Sidibe & Oscar Winner Mo'Nique
