Streets of Rage 4 Anniversary Edition - Nintendo Switch

Streets of Rage is one of my favorite old school games. When I heard they were coming out with Streets of Rage 4 I was stoked! The game came out, its great, but not all the way to what I was expecting. Streets of Rage 4 is the skeleton of the originals with updated sprites and scenary. I was hoping they would change it up a bit. But at the end of the day Im not mad at it. Its still a great game. I just feel as if I'm playing the old game with updated graphics. Hopefully Streets of Rage 5 changes it up. If it wasn't for it being the same concept, I would of given it the 5.

A great continuation of the series. The music is incredible, it's amazing that Yuzo Koshiro came back for some of the tracks. Probably the best game to come out in decades. Give it a shot.

Good twists and additions to a classic series. The gameplay, music, and graphics definitely off a nostalgic yet updated feel. Its very fun to play.

Yes, this game is very fun to play through. No, it's not the Streets of Rage I played as a teenager in the 90's. I realize cell shading is very popular in today's video game landscape, but I'm old school. I just prefer 16-bit graphics. But for $40 it's a solid addition to the Nintendo Switch library.

SoR4 is one of my favorite games of all time on any console. I owned 4 different editions of the game include a couple of Limited Run Release. Its nice having all the DLC character readily available from the beginning especially if you are playing muliplayer. If you havent played this game in any form then really what are you doing with your life.
