Battle Chasers: Nightwar - Nintendo Switch

I LOVE this game but admittedly, it is quite buggy no matter what platform you play it on. Regardless of this though, it is still a solid true turn-based JRPG. If you love the classics like Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star or and Final Fantasy before 12, this will be right up your alley way.

Well 20 years ago a famous comic artist made a 9 issue comic series about this that he never finished, because he went to make video games instead. It was popular at the time, now he’s bringing it back. I still like it. Hopefully he decides to give us a couple of issues to close out the story. Bizarre story though. Good game.

I’m not a huge fan of RPG’s but this one isn’t bad. I got this on sale and would recommend it.

Got it during a sale, so far the game has been very fun to play.

I enjoyed the art style, story, and battle system a lot. It's great looking, fun, and had likeable characters. I liked that you could use whatever team you wanted. Also, I liked the turn based battle system with active wait bar. It reminded me a lot of Chrono trigger. The only con is that the game felt short... But it was still very enjoyable! I hope more sequels come out!

Grabbed it on sale and can’t wait to check it out!

been a long time fan of battle chasers. now you get to take control of your favorite characters.

The game is excellent. Good views, great atmosphere, and old fashioned but really interesting gameplay. Especially it's a fit to handheld mode. The only disadvantage is the poor optimization. It's not a serious issue but the loading time is actually a little bit long. Hope in the future there will be a patch to fix that!
