My previous cheap builder dishwasher died twice after a year and I needed a replacement fast. After doing some research I landed on this unit but it was sold out everywhere locally for weeks except BestBuy. This unit came with free installation and was delivered and installed less than 24 hours from ordering! Installation was very professional, looks great, feels solid, no leaks. The Bosch 300 dishwasher is very quiet in comparison to the builder one even though more expensive units are quieter. Very pleased with the Google Home integration as now I can ask it how much time is left on the dishwasher. You can also program it on a schedule which is awesome for keeping the sink empty if you are one of those who forgets to start it. Wake up, empty, load detergent, and load as used throughout day. Great feature. Only downside I've seen after a month of use is that I will come back to the dishwasher with no indication that it has run. The 'clean' indicator light usually turns off before I have a chance to see it. Not a big deal if you run on the schedule like I do. Dries great for me with rinse aid in the chamber. Highly recommend!

It does an excellent job washing. It is whisper quiet. My only complaint is the way the interior is set up. It is recommended that "all dishes face the center," but the way the tines are all angled in the same direction is weird (in the lower rack, back row). In the upper rack, the "bumps" on the side rows force the angle the wrong way, making bowls hold water because they are leaning backward. My former Maytag dishwasher did not have this problem!

This dishwasher was recommended to me because I had a Samsung that died. I definitely appreciate the Bosch Legacy, but as expensive as this dishwasher was, it honestly should be doing a much better job than it is. The third rack at the top is nice except that it interferes with any tall glasses that you would want to put on the second show. Obviously you can remove the third rack, but then there would be nowhere to put spatulas and other larger utensils. The bottom rack at first glance seems to have a lot of room but as soon as you start putting plates and bowls in it there becomes a lot of unused space that would not safely hold anything. I'm also very disappointed with the utensils rack as you only have the option to separate the utensils or remove the grid all together. You can't have some space where the utensils are separated and then an open space for bigger serving spoons and tongs. You either get separated utensils or you get everything bunched together. I was very surprised on the normal setting that some of my glassware did not get completely clean. So I have had to run it on heavy cycle always in order to get everything clean and sanitized. And I'm even the type of person who wipes down the dishes before loading the dishwasher so it's not because there's caked on food or debris. All In all, this dishwasher could easily have been half its price.
