So upset they cancelled it.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI loved season one of Copper and season two did not disappoint at all. The only complaint I have is that they seem to wrap up most of the stories at least somewhat sufficiently before the last episode. Then there is a great, pretty much self-contained story (road trip), however, the last 5+ minutes set up a whole new, really interesting story line and the show was cancelled. I knew it was cancelled before I got it and it was still completely worth seeing, but to almost get to the end with everything resolved and then have such potential left hanging from just the last few minutes . . . it was just frustrating. I still wouldn't have missed seeing and owning it.

A cancelled show that didn't desearve it!
|Posted .Anybody who liked Gangs of New York should check out this short lived 2 season series. Even though it takes on a different story line, the same desperation to live and survive in such a violent setting comes through in each of the first two seasons. Season 2 does give you enough closure on some issues that you can still be satisfied watching this cancelled show!

Great 1860's era series set in New York City.
|Posted .Season 2 of Copper added more characters and subplots which were well written, but apparently confused too many viewers that were casual watchers of the show. The show lost almost half its audience mid-season and ended with a cliffhanger. The show was highly rated and if this was a BBC production and not a BBC America funded series it probably would have been picked up for a third season. You will want to see season 1 before starting this season.

Good story
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendA well written and acted crime story set in New York City back in the 1860's. Interesting characters and settings add to the historical timeframe. A cool history lesson.

|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendEXCELLENT show. Great character development. Just the right amount of violence and brutality. Great sets and the story is well orchastrated. You will not regret getting this show... Season 2 is actually better than season 1 and I loved season 1. Just do it!

Story of Early New York City
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is a snapshot of early New York City. Stories of the poverty and crime that existed. Donal Logue ( Vikings ) and Franka Potente ( Run Lola Run ) are standouts.

A wonderful addition to any serious collection.
|Posted .Did not see how the first season could be out done. The second season not only picked up and expounded on the story line but rounded out the characters in a way that made you care even more about the time and events of these people.
