In the wake of a botched heist in Mount Pleasant, MI, sibling casino robbers Addison (Eric Bana) and Liza (Olivia Wilde) are making a mad dash for the Canadian border when their car careens off the icy road, and their getaway driver is instantly killed. After a policeman stumbles across the accident scene moments later, Addison impulsively pumps him full of bullets, gives half of the cash to Liza, and insists that the pair split up. Later, as the desperate Addison holes up in a secluded hunting cabin, Liza stands shivering by the side of the road, where she's eventually picked up by ex-con and former Olympic pugilist Jay (Charlie Hunnam), who's on the run from the police himself following a scrape with a Detroit gym owner. Upon learning that Jay is heading to his parents' house for Thanksgiving, Liza tells her brother where they will be, and Addison manages to reach the home first, quickly taking Jay's mother June (Sissy Spacek) and father Chet (Kris Kristofferson) -- a retired sheriff -- hostage. The situation turns critical when Jay and Liza arrive at the house to find Addison holding June and Chet at gunpoint, and as the group gathers around the table the local police begin to close in. Meanwhile, with his options quickly running out and his sister falling for a hostage, the trigger-happy Addison seems capable of snapping at any moment.~Jason Buchanan

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and really enjoyed watching it and am looking forward to watching again.
Hardcore movie fan, especially Thriller/Mystery/Suspense/Horror-> I really enjoyed this movie. Unique story line that all weaves together in the end. Some amazing Graphics Scenes. The actor's chosen were great for their roles. Some gore...more shocking not scary. Definitely not a watch with children..intense LOVE SCENES and believable "shocker scenes" (don't want to spoil it) I rated this 5 stars and would watch again. Don't miss if you want to watch something with great acting, unique twists, suspense, and just enough romance.
Little known or talked about movie with great cast and has good action/intensity for a drama. Charlie Hunnam and Eric Bana-two top notch actors. The rest of the cast kicks in to round out an entertaining and fulfilling film. Don't always go by what the film critics say-give it a chance.
Soon, it becomes evident that all characters in movie have somehow failed - as criminals and/or as parents/children, so there are no totally positive or negative types. But the events develop and - with the help of background snow - the viewers are shown different characters who, in the end, will sit at one table. The movie has all elements of crime drama - shootings, dead bodies, police work, chases - included but not limited to. However, the plot is uneven and the ending is shallow. Not sure if I will ever watch it again but I am glad I gave it a try.
