one day Elvis it's it into his head that he is going to Washington DC to see the president so he can get a special badge to rest drug dealers in the music industry goes there without any notice and shows up at the gate and hands a note to the guards but when he comes in they making this on although he does get in with one gun and then there's a picture taken in this thing most requested picture from the national archive in all times a side-by-side shot of Nixon and Elvis. Okay what if I haven't had moved in that time and hit rid of the story I wouldn't of believed it could actually be true ladies and gentlemen I live in that time and I saw it on the news of the time so it actually happened. So if you want to see what history look like watch this movie and I think you'll be happily enjoyed. As always bill dunning

I think that "Elvis & Nixon" was one of the greatest historical films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I really enjoyed all of the drama that kept this film very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that "Elvis & Nixon" had a really great and amazing cast, a creative plot and exciting personal storylines and drama as well.

Enjoyed this film much more than I expected to. Some funny scenes for sure. My only 'complaint' is that Michael Shannon, who is a good actor, cannot ever convince anyone he is Elvis. He lacks the charisma, and the drop dead good looks of Elvis. But better to have a good actor in the role than an impersonator who looks stupid.

Kevin Spacey is excellent as Richard M Nixon. Michael Shannon portrays Elvis Presley as a real human being and not as a rock star god. I really appreciated the attention to detail and accuracy of the settings for the time period. Both performances were well-crafted and did not tip over into cheap impersonations.

Movie provides an interesting look on an interesting moment in history where two American figure heads with a lot in common, meet, clash, and bond in a single meeting. Spacey does a decent Nixon impression, Shannon does a different take on Elvis I didn't much care for. Still a good watch though

I've read the story about Elvis meeting Nixon. This movie makes me wonder what actually took place. If Elvis was anything like how he was portrayed in the movie, he really had some major issues. We know about the drugs but this movie portrays him as quite odd.

This chance meeting between two oddly iconic characters opens itself for deeper comedic treatment. So much more potential that I wish was explored. Integrity is not the high road with these two. Note to filmmakers, have some fun next time.

Spacey is great as Nixon, he's got the man down. Shannon, interesting as Elvis, thought Elvis had a little more personality but I still enjoyed the performance. Highly entertaining movie, good performances by the leads.
