tear jerker
I often purchase movies I've never heard of, just reading the information on the cover. This movie turned out to be very good and a real tear jerker. I shared it with my daughter.

Russell crowe did a great job being the torture father in this drama. His daughter has to come to terms with his short coming.

Was better than expected.
After reading the reviews on this movie, I wasn't sure I wanted to see it, but after watching it, I was pleasantly surprised.
