Isabelle Huppert teams up with the incredibly subtle and humanistic Ira Sacs in this feature film set in Portugal.
As with all of Sac's films: the images are stunning, he takes him tome to reveal things both psychologically and visually, and emotions come to the surface as a viewer that usually don't when watching film. As a film itself - a stand alone piece of art - it is average at best. Multiple viewings might be needed to capture all of the various incredibly gifted performances with the film's cast of actors.
