The best modern war depiction
Generation Kill is the best modern war depiction put to screen. A very enjoyable series due to the humor and writing, you see the lows and triumphs of the Marines and US in general during the war.
One annoying thing about the DVD's though is it doesn't save your spot if you stop mid episode.

Generation...Real
One of the best HBO series ever. I met some of the real Marines deploying for this fracas, so they really are a lot like the series depicts. Alexander Skarsgard in the first role I saw him in is excellent in this series. Great price, great show.
