Keep having problems connecting to the wifi

I have this printer two weeks, and I keep having problems in the wireless connection. Pages printed stop in the middle, restart connection should be done again and again and not always resolve the problem. I've seen this issue reported by others but thought it will not be in my apartment as I have a wireless connection in the same room as the printer. Unfortunately, its not the case. I could print some pages but couldn't find the way to keep the printer connected. I have no problems with any other device. Im returning this printer back to bestbuy and will replace with any other model that can ensure good connection. The printer itself is not bad, compact for my small apartment, good quality of the printing but the copy feature degrades significantly from the original. Im talking black and white and no color copies. So take that into consideration as it seems the scanner is not on the best quality. This is all I can say until now. Frustrating overall that a new printer has such low quality of connection.

I have been using this printer for a few weeks now without any issues. However, it took about four hours to get the printer up and running properly. Initially, I elected to download the software from the CD that came with the printer instead of selecting "Download" the most current software version from the internet. After four hours of trying to resolve communication issues between the printer and my desktop computer that uses the Windows 10 operating system, I decided to start all over. I removed all the HP printer software from my computer that I downloaded from the CD. I then went to the HP online site and downloaded the appropriate software; then everything worked without issues. On the downside, I was not provided an option to load the software to a drive other than "C". Also, HP included a lot of other software with the download that I do not think is needed and which takes up precious room on the "C" drive. After some indepth research I still cannot determine out of the eight HP software packages downloaded which ones can be eliminated and still have the printer function properly. I was also shocked to discover a refill black ink cartridge cost around $65.

I am absolutely loving having a laser printer. I got so tired of having to replace inkjet cartridges, especially the color ones, when I primarily print in black and white. This comes with the ink toner cartridge already installed with an expectancy of two years usage out of it. I don't have to worry about changing it for a long time. This is an all in one so I can also copy and scan when needed. It prints smoothly and quickly, unlike back and forth inkjets, and the print quality is good. This is smaller than my old injet printer, it takes up less room on the desk, and I like the white color. Also the flat top on it makes it looks so much nicer. Just an all around great printer.

When it comes to printers UP is the king. Specially LaserJet. I still have a color nnetwork LaserJet one I purchased 12 years ago with the trial cartridges that came with it. The black is finally low after all this time. Now the newer ones have less yeald per cartridge then the older models but they are worth every penny. LaserJet tones is powder and you don't have to worry about cartridges drying out like the inkjet. This all in one is perfect for home use and black & white is good enough these days. No need to print pictures since you can send to shutterfly or others for pennies to be printed and shipped to anyone.

After having it for a month now, it does everything it is meant to do. I used to own HP printers before, just for printing and my experience with them has always been bad mainly because ink goes to waste rather quickly after 5 uses. But this printer, while the toner costs like $65 which is too much but hey, that's why there are third party toners haha, but I digress, as I was saying, the toner still has enough to print or make copies. Forget inkjet, it's all about laserjet baby. I highly recommend this printer to anyone. Got it for $99+ tax and shipping.

Everything works fine until I tried Windows 10 wireless direct printing bypassing WiFi router connection. I could use wireless direct printing on my Windows 8 PC, but it was impossible for me to do the same thing on my new Windows 10 PC. I guess the driver was made only for Windows 8, and the same driver may not work for Windows 10. Except this tiny issue, everything is fine. Through WiFi, I can print from iPhone, iPad, Windows 8/10 PCs.

One of the negativity that I would always get from ex HP printer users is that the ink hardly last for more than a week. However, this being a laser printer, have printed more than 50 sheets of work, receipts and for shipping items, the toner still has enough left. It's been over 2 or 3 months and still has enough toner to print or make a copy. Definitely the best All in One minus the fax which it doesn't have but that's fine.

Not a huge printer fan! I tend to get easily irritated by printers. Having tried Epson recently and been very upset I went back to HP. Tired of sucking up ink and lines in the print I went for the Laser Jet by HP. This one was easy to set up, got her to print the second try. It can also be connected using wireless or a USB cable included. Also liked this printer because toners are not pricey. You can scan, one by one, doesn't have a feeder. Serves my purpose, if you scan large documents; this might not be the right one for you. I totally recommend it!
