An entertaining and involving take on actual event

I was attracted to this movie by the buzz about a 50+ year old Jennifer Lopez turning in an Oscar worthy performance. As I watched it I realized that there were many others, Jennifer Lopez among them that did a fantastic job. I feel that there was some substance to the claims that it was an overt snub when the Academy didn't even nominate Ms. Lopez in her category. It's a good enough film that I will be sharing it with family and friends.
I think this movie was marketed as a comedy when it was first released, but i see it as a drama that has some funny scenes: some exotic dancers come up with a get rich quick scheme that involves drugging their clients. (inspired by a true story) A strong cast that includes Jennifer Lopez & Constance Wu makes this movie a success and worth a watch.
This was an interesting movie but with a very good cast. Women know how to hustle and they are very good at what they do. The 4k was amazing with the colors and shots close up, this was a good movie with great camera work.
This is one of Jennifer Lopez’s best films and she is deserving of awards nominations. A emotional and physical role. The story of how desperate adult dancers too advantage of big money Wall St players. The ensemble cast Constance Wu & Lili Reinhart are also great.
This was an amazing movie!!! It was about a group of women just drugging and stealing from men. Typical stuff that no one actually cares about. I mean cardi B did it and she’s not in jail... those wondering if she’s a lot in the movie ... no she’s barely there for like 3 mins. That shouldn’t be a push away from fantastic performances
Good popcorn flick. J-Lo is very good as Ramona, the main architect of the scam that is the basis for the film. Constance Wu is also very good as her protege. Not great cinema but still an enjoyable film.
