    • Form Factor: Desktop (The type of computer the memory is configured to fit in.)
    • Speed: 2666 megahertz
    • Latency: 16-18-18 (Refers to the amount of time between the moment a memory request is initiated and the moment the request is retrieved by a processor, commonly written as a series of 4 numbers, or timings. Each timing measures the performance of the module according to a specific parameter. Generally, the lower the numbers, the faster the RAM can respond to requests.)
    • CAS Latency: 16 (Column Address Strobe (CAS) Latency refers to the number of clock cycles (for synchronous DRAM) or nanoseconds (for asynchronous DRAM) between the moment an instruction or command is initiated and the moment the data result is available. Generally, the lower the numbers, the better.)

  • Speed
    • Memory Speed Rating: PC4-21300 (The RAM's bandwidth rating. The numbers refer to generation and transfer speed and are typically separated with a hyphen. For example, PC3-12800 would indicate that the module is 3rd generation and has a theoretical bandwidth of 12,800 megabytes per second (MBs). The higher the second number, the faster the speed.)

  • Features
    • Buffered or Registered: Unbuffered (Registered (buffered) memory modules are classified by the addition of a register between the memory controller and DRAM modules. When compared to conventional unbuffered (unregistered) memory, this type provides more stability with less electrical load on the controller, making it a common choice for use in robust applications, such as servers.)
    • Data Integrity Check: Non-ECC (Error-correcting code (ECC) memory helps to maintain data integrity within a computer system, protecting it from potential crashes as well as losses or changes to data due to undetected errors. Systems that use ECC have an additional chip on the RAM that acts as the error check.)
    • Memory Channels: Triple (Multi-channel memory increases the rate of data transfer between the DRAM memory and memory controller by adding more channels of communication. The more channels, the more memory bandwidth.)
    • Lighting Type: None
    • Fan Included: false
  • Power
    • Voltage: 1.2 volts (Amount of power needed to support an electrical current.)

Q: is it 1 stick that 8gb or 2 sticks that are 4gb each?

A: Most likely a error in checkout picture shows 1 stick of 8gb

Q: Is this better than the HyperX Fury 8gb 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 that sells on Walmart for $46.83? My son says he wants RAM by HyperX for Christmas but I know nothing about this stuff. Any help is appreciated!

A: Yes, it should be better since it's 2666mhz. I prefer 3200 mhz but for this price... Additionally, if you read the specs, it clearly states two(2) sticks of 8 gigs each for a total of 16 gigs. I should rec mine on Tues Nov 10, 2020. if it's not 16 I will answer back. WARNING this is DDR4 ram. which is the most current generation, DDR5 is out but not widely avail. DDR3 is not compatible with the same motherboards as DDR4.

Q: Is it 2 sticks of 8gb for 16gb of total capacity or 2 sticks of 4gb for 8gb of total capacity?

A: I only received one stick of 8G, but PHOTO and the SPECS say it's 8G per stick for a total of 16G per order. I stopped by Bestbuy and they confirmed 2 sticks, but that was before I had received them. I will contact BB and ask for the rest. It's a good company, so I'm sure they'll make it right. Either way I will let you know. BTW, I made two orders which both arrived in just a few days, not the 9 days stated.

Q: the pic and spec sheet says its two sticks of 8 gb, can anyone confirm this?

A: Hey! It's a single 8 GB module. If you look at our HyperX Part Number, it will let you know if a single module or a kit. HXxxxxxxxxx/8 = one 8 GB module HXxxxxxxxxxK2/8 = two 4 GB modules HXxxxxxxxxxK4/32 = four 8 GB modules

Q: Will this work in a all in one hp pc

A: Hello, Kasper603! Please refer to your motherboard model and visit the website for specification and memory compatibilities. Thank you! Sidney| HyperX

Q: Are thes Unbuffered /Non-ECC?? I see no where in description

A: Hey MrTI! Yes, the HyperX FURY HX426C16FB3/8 is an unbuffered/Non-ECC module. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact us directly.
