Robbed of his royal lineage as a child when his uncle usurped the throne, Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) returns to the kingdom once ruled by his father and draws the legendary sword Excalibur from the stone. He must then learn to harness the sword's power in order to lead a rebellion against the tyrannical Vortigern (Jude Law) and reclaim his birthright. Guy Ritchie directed this stylized retelling of the story of King Arthur, which co-stars Eric Bana, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, and Aidan Gillen.~Daniel Gelb

KING ARTHUR dazzles with imaginary that's about it
I really wanted to like this movie, from the trailer it looked cool, but after viewing, it just kind of left you like "oh ok" I watched it with my friend we both were very bored with it. It had some very cool imagery and a few dazzling action scenes, but the story seems to be lacking. 3/5 stars. If it was on a 1-10 movie scale it would be a 5.
A great presentation of a fun movie. Guy Richie's King Arthur is not the disaster people made it out to be. It's the wildest ride for this tale (Arthur fights a dragon!), and I would have loved to see the full trilogy get made.
One of the best retellings of the legend. Excellent casting, plot, cinematography and special effects. Very original idea for an Arthur storyline. Loved it enough I have watched it at least 3 time. Exceptional soundtrack so much so I got a couple of the songs off iTunes.
