Samsung - 55” Class S85D Series OLED 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024)

The delivery was on time and completed by courteous, professional men. The process of scheduling a delivery day online at purchase was very easy. The unboxing and handling required 2 people. But it was easy as I followed the instructions and videos provided. I didn't have to hookup to a network since I hadn't purchased one yet.But the videos and instructions by Samsung would have made it easy to do so. The setup of the OLED television is easy with the remote. The remote takes a bit of getting used to with the Tizen OS. The television's speakers are underwhelming. BUT, I was able to use my Samsung phone with the Smart Things app to easily sync my TV with my Samsung HWQ-990D soundbar for an excellent experience! The picture is really clear and bright. I'm really happy so far with my purchase. I look forward to this S85D OLED television lasting for many years to come.

I did quite a bit of research before finally getting this tv. I was first looking at the LG OLED smart tv. This also is my first purchase of a tv since 2010 and my first smart tv. I only get nauseous from some shows I watch as I get sick from to much high quality shows. But the picture is amazing and even all the features are nice my kids even love they can connect their game controllers to play games. I see many complaints about the remote but i think is cool. Yes it is harder to figure as you have to push the button a few times to get to what you want. I looked at the tvs in Best Buy after I got mine home and a employee confirmed I make a great choice and said I will be able to enjoy my choice for years to come. The pictures dont do justice you get the best experience at home.

What a great replacement for my previous Samsung that still worked fine but I wanted a bigger screen I'm so glad I did, the color both in a dark room or with light is AMAZING! The soulnd is pretty decent on it's own Setting it up, no problem. I'd like to add I'm a 67 year old female not that it should matter but to encourage others not to hesitate when purchasing items that may seem could be a daunting task. Bottom line, I'm enjoying my Samsung 55" Oled, would buy it again.

I Was Looking To Replace My 2022 Hisense U8H Television Because On Bright Scenes Especially When Displaying Bright White (Such as Watching N.H.L.) It Suffered From The Dreaded "Dirty Screen Effect". I Was Deciding Between LG's B3/C3, Sony's X90L (Local-Dimming L.E.D.), And This Samsung. I Pulled The Trigger On The Samsung Because I Was Approved For In-Store Financing By Best Buy. That Being Said, I Have Absolutely No Regrets (So Far Anyway). I Work Night-Shift So Even In My days Off I'm Up Late At Night And This Is Where OLED T.V.s Really Shine. Their Near Infinite Contrast Ratios and Zero Blooming Effect Make Watching T.V. Enjoyable In a Dark Room Which Is When I Watch T.V. 90% Of The Time. Being My First OLED, I Was Amazed How Thin The Actual Screen Is, Thank GOD I Don't Have Kids Because I'd Definitely Worry About Some Careless Kid Breaking/Cracking The Screen. Of Course Like Any Flat Screen T.V. You'll Need To Provide Your Own Audio (Soundbar/External Speakers/Subwoofer(s) If You Care To Have Any Decent Sound From Whatever You Are Watching. I Have a ONKYO TX-NR6050 Along With a Polk Audio 5.2ch Speaker Setup With SVS PB10 and Monolith V-10 Powered Subwoofers. These Screenshots of "Cradle To The Grave" I Hope Give Y'all a Sense Of How Well This Samsung Provides a Great 4k Picture. Highly Recommended If You Are In The Market For a Entry-Level OLED.

I was thrilled to find an open box OLED tv 75% off it's original price. I was given the wrong set of support legs for the tv and when I went back to the store, the legs for the open box tv I bought couldn't be found. The Best Buy staff contacted their manager, explained the situation, and they pulled an insignia tv stand off the store shelf as a solution which I was please with

This movie night is going to be epic! With the incredible picture quality and sound, and the added sound bar, wireless subwoofer, and wireless rear speakers, it's going to be a blast.

This was purchased to replace my 9 year old 55" OLED Samsung TV. The picture is improved over the older one. The operating system is much more intuitive and reliable. One niggling point, the last one had the very convenient One Connect system, the newer one doesn't. I was forced to run 5 different cables to get everything properly connected.
