In this long-awaited reboot of the landmark series that helped define the postapocalyptic genre, loner Max (Tom Hardy) joins forces with the mysterious Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) and a group of warrior women as they flee from an evil despot across a sun-parched wasteland.~Violet LeVoit
All-New introduction to Black & Chrome Edition by George Miller
Tom Hardy's no Mel Gibson, but he doesn't need to be. He delivers his own charisma. I found there to be amicable chemistry between his character and Charlize Theron's. I found the story to be quite simple; a road war occurs after Furiosa decides to go the Green Place instead of Gas Town and Bullet Farm in order to escort five mothers to her native Green Place. This is indeed one of the best films of 2015. This is one of those action films that truly compelled me unlike others like Fast & The Furious, Transformers, WWE, etc.
Witness this if you can stand the awesomeness that is Fury Road! Get your motor running with action sequences so real you can smell the guzzoline and chrome spray paint! Wonder the desert wasteland clinging to hope that something better awaits you! Stunning visuals, practical stunts and effects give this movie an edge you won't see in any other action film. The scale is massive and the characters are interesting enough to keep you watching. Not much dialogue but who cares when things are being destroyed all around you? Fire, blood and explosions! You can't go wrong if you love action films.
This movie was very exciting! Being that it was in Blu-Ray was even better. The color and picture where more vivid, and the sound was loud but perfect at those moments. This movie will keep you on edge and the excitement will thrill you. Charlize Theron was especially good in her role as the warrior Imperator Furiosa, and Tom Hardy as Mad Max was perfect.

As good as the originals
I was a little leery at first when I heard they were doing a "Mad Max" without Mel Gibson, but I was pleasantly surprised. It had the same "feel" as the first three, with its mix of action and humor. Tom Hardy took over the role and made it his own. Since it was directed by the original "Max" director, George Miller, that was a plus that satisfied.
Ol' Tom is definitely leaving his mark on Hollywood. Along with Charlize Theron in this movie Tom Hardy and she makes the flick worthwhile.. Much better than the original Mad Max series from the 80's was.
