After almost a week, I think the surrounds on this headphone have finally been broken in and the sound will not change anymore. Soundstage is quite large that I have to remember that these are closed back and not open back headphones. The midrange is quite good and this is where you would love this headphone if you love music with a lot of vocals. The highs are excellent too and never gets too piercing or tiring for long term use. Speaking of presence, the high-end sounds great here. It doesn’t distort or sound overly boosted, but there’s certainly enough there to help make the overall sound relatively exciting. The bass is a bit boosted while still maintaining that easy to listen to sound. If you like bass like Beats headphones you may want to look somewhere else. The sound is fairly accurate. These are not neutral headphones as compared to the Oppo PM-3 or Audio-Techicas I have. The clamping pressure is tigther than I'm used to so after a couple of hours my ears hurt if I'm using them as on-ear headphones or I just have a big head. Switching the pads to on-ear solves this problem. The BT reception is quite good and you can get to almost 100 feet away if you have a clear line of sight of yopur audio source. But i still have too see someone ever use BT headphones and leave their smart phone 2 rooms away. On wired mode the sound signature is about the same but with a slightly better clarity. You will hard pressed to tell the difference between wired and BT modes though. It's a bit pricey at $400 and there are better and cheaper alternatives if you want the best bang for your buck. However, no other headphones will come close the quality of the materials used on these headphones. You know it's built to last the moment you see it.

Master & Dynamic MW-50+ headphones Initial impressions: I thought this would just be the wireless version of the MH30 which I enjoy. The sound signature although similar and not exactly the same. Soundstage is good and unlike the MH30 these don't fold since it doesn't have hinges. It does fold flat. Comes with a USB C charging cable which is nice but doesn't come with the power supply. But any old phone charger should work. Midrange is ok so is the high end. The bass has a nice sound and not boomy at all. These are closed back headphones. The grills on the earcups are purely for aesthetics. The reason I got this was it comes with 2 sets of earpads that allow me to go from on-ear to over-ear headphones by just swapping the earpads. I don't have to carry 2 headphones with me all the time.

I was looking for a replacement set of headphones that were light weight but still had a decent sound primarily for guided meditations. I had used PX200 Sennheisers for years that were perfect for this until my grandchildren destroyed them. When I first took the box out of the bag at home I was distressed to see that they were wireless as the ones I tried in the store were wired. A bit of going through the box and research online showed that they were either wired or wireless. I didn't think I would use the wireless feature (we are "health nuts") but I have occasionally and found the wireless feature quite handy. It did not seem to make my tinnitus any worse after a short time which most other bluetooth devices will do. My first thought when using was they were too tight on my head. They are "stretching out" or loosening with use. The physical quality of these are better than any other headphones I have ever owned. They are incredibly durable, beautiful and still real work of craftsmanship. I am not a sound expert by any means, but these are equal to or better in sound quality than my Bose noise canceling or my two pairs of Sennheisers headphones. I was tempted to order another pair of the PX200's to compare them to but after a week of use decided the quality of construction is so much better on these. Yes, the M&D are a bit heavier than I was initially wanting but I am very satisfied.

dayumm. these kick Very well. dependent on the source, these bad boys are clear and loud. be careful with you hearing with these. ive ran them with an Onkyo txsr806 and that puts out some serious sound. these M&D's feel like they can jump off you head with the powerful sound output. very comfortable ear pads which are changeable to over your ears or sit on your ears. very sturdy made headphones. the bluetooth works great also. battery lasts me roughly 20'ish hours with crankin them during the mowing season! i like these headphone for their versatility!!! wired or wireless

The sound quality is great at low volume. At higher volume, sound can be easily heard to those not wearing them- sound seeps out. Occasionally experience crackling or delay issues when first connecting headphones to my pixel phone. Bluetooth range is very good, better than beats. Lightweight and the two different ear pads are very nice to have. Slightly expensive given the issues I've experienced, I plan to mostly use these in private opposed to on planes or at work due to the noise seepage.
