I am a big Mentalist addict! I watch the show on TV but I really love being able to see the behind the scenes stuff like the interviews, the deleted scenes, etc. It's fun to be able to have a mentalist marathon which is actually how I started watching the show. I was in the hospital and there was a marathon on and I really enjoyed seeing the show. When I got home I ordered the other seasons and played catch up. This season was really great! I was worried that I would not be happy with the conclusion of the Red John show premise but I really loved the way they did it! I really love the writing, the acting and I really enjoy seeing the different places where they film!

In this season, Jane is more reckless, cunning, and charming than ever. The 5th season of the Mentalist include: 1. "The Crimson Ticket" 2. "Devil's Cherry" 3. "Not One Red Cent" 4. "Blood Feud" 5. "Red Dawn" 6. "Cherry Picked" 7. "If It Bleeds, It Leads" 8. "Red Sails in the Sunset" 9. "Black Cherry" 10. "Panama Red" 11. "Days of Wine and Roses" 12. "Little Red Corvette" 13. "The Red Barn" 14. "Red in Tooth and Claw" 15. "Red Lacquer Nail Polish" 16. "There Will Be Blood" 17. "Red, White and Blue" 18. "Behind the Red Curtain" 19. "Red Letter Day" 20. "Red Velvet Cupcakes" 21. "Red and itchy" 22. "Red John's Rules"

I fell in love with the Mentalist during the first season. Acting was ok and the story line could have used some work, but it was a great show. Season 5 is a game changer. After knowing how season 4 ended with Lorelei being arrested, season 5 was set up for a great season from the start. There are twists and turns along the way, but this is one of the most Red John focused seasons. Definite recommendation!

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys mystery and humor. The characters have me laughing out loud even when I'm watching by myself. There always seems to be an odd little twist to the plot that you never saw coming. All shows come to an end eventually, but it will be a shame when it happens to this one.

I started watching "The Guardian" with Simon Baker years ago. It ended, and was I ever excited to begin watching "The Mentalist." Season 5 is as great as the other four seasons of the show. I like Simon's character because he is "snarky" but right. I've enjoyed the show getting into the characters' lives. If you haven't seen the show, rent a season; you'll end up buying all 5 seasons.
