Life outside of an office
The show follows the life of three men who live in and earn a living from the great outdoors. Eustace is more of a subsistence farmer, Tim is a trapper who manufactures products that he sells to support himself and his wife. The last is Marty who traps in the Alaskan wilderness and sells the fur. Of the three Marty is the closest to the old mountain men who trapped fur for a living.

Enjoyable reality TV
If you like reality TV series like Swamp People, you'll likely enjoy this show too. The show is more geared toward providing entertainment then teaching the audience history or survival skills. I really like the show but there are a lot of scenes that are exaggerated or staged for entertainment value. This DVD set made it easy to binge watch the season.

A new adventure series
An unlikely group of men living a life so very different from many of us. A grizzly bunch but yet, I am somewhat jealous of their freedom.
