    • Image Sensor Size: 35mm Full Frame (36 x 24 mm)
    • Effective Pixels: 45.7 megapixels (The actual number of pixels which make up the viewable image.)
    • Standardized Video Resolution: 4K (2160p) (An approximated measurement of the product’s video resolution. This may not be the exact resolution of the product, which may be slightly more or less when using a pixel-by-pixel measurement.)
  • General
    • Brand: Nikon
    • Model Number: 1656
    • Product Name: Z 7 II 4k Video Mirrorless Camera with NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 Lens
    • Color: Black
    • Camera Model Family: Nikon Z7
    • Digital Camera Type: Mirrorless Camera with Lens
  • Imaging
    • Image Sensor Type: CMOS (CCD and CMOS are the two main technologies used in image sensors. CCD, the older of the two types, turns analog light signals into digital pixels. This conversion happens without distortion, resulting in high-quality images. Newer CMOS sensors use transistors at each pixel to move electrical charges. CMOS sensors are typically less expensive, but also require more light to create distortion-free images.)
    • Image Sensor Size: 35mm Full Frame (36 x 24 mm)
    • Digital Zoom: None (A digital zoom is accomplished electronically, with no adjustment of the camera's optics, and no optical resolution gained in the process. The existing data is not enhanced or added to, merely displayed at a lower resolution, thereby giving an illusion of an enlarged image.)
    • In-Camera Image Stabilization: true (This feature helps reduce image blurring from camera motion. In-camera stabilization means the image sensor itself moves to counteract detected motion.)
    • Low Light/High Sensitivity: true (High sensitivity digital imaging devices are designed to work in low light conditions to produce a high dynamic range image.)
    • Image File Format(s): RAW, TIFF, JPEG (Standardized software format(s) of storing digital images. The type of format chosen for capturing and compressing the image can determine quality, level of detail, and storage space required.)
  • Focus
    • Autofocus: true (Allows the camera to automatically focus through the lens, rather than by adjusting the lens manually.)
    • Eye Autofocus (Eye AF): true (Automatically seeks out and focuses on the subject's eye and holds it as the camera and subject move and as the photographer shoots at high frame rates.)
  • Exposure Control
    • Shutter Speeds: 1/8000 – 30 s (choose from step sizes of 1/3 and 1/2 EV,extendable to 900 s in mode M), bulb, time, X200 (The length of time the shutter remains open when the shutter release is activated, expressed in fractions of seconds. The longer the shutter is open, the more light that is able to be captured by the camera sensor.)
    • Minimum Aperture: f/22 (The smallest opening of a lens, typically expressed in f-numbers. The larger the number, the smaller the aperture and the less light that can enter the lens. A smaller aperture creates a larger depth of field, which keeps both foreground and background in focus.)
    • Maximum Aperture: f/4 (The limit to how wide a lens can be open, typically expressed in f-numbers. The smaller the number, the larger the aperture and the more light that can enter the lens. A larger aperture creates a shallower depth of field, helpful for keeping subjects in focus and blurring background details.)
    • Minimum ISO: 64 (ISO is the measurement of a camera image sensor's light sensitivity. When there is plenty of light, using the lowest ISO setting available will typically result in a higher quality image.)
    • Maximum ISO: 25600 (ISO is the measurement of a camera image sensor's light sensitivity. In low-light environments, using a higher ISO setting helps to capture a sharp, bright image.)
    • Maximum Expandable ISO: 102400 (ISO is the measurement of a camera image sensor's light sensitivity. Expandable ISO settings use software to simulate brighter images than the device's native ISO range is capable of capturing.)
    • Self Timer: true
    • Self-Timer Delay: 2 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 20 seconds
    • Effective Pixels: 45.7 megapixels (The actual number of pixels which make up the viewable image.)
  • Lens
    • Lens Mount Compatibility: Nikon Z
    • Lens Type: Standard Zoom
    • Minimum Focal Length: 24 millimeters (The minimum distance between the lens and the image sensor that allows the subject to be in focus. The shorter the focal length, the greater the area of scene captured.)
    • Maximum Focal Length: 70 millimeters (The maximum distance between the lens and the image sensor that allows the subject to be in focus. The greater the focal length, the smaller the area of scene captured.)
    • Lens Series: Nikon Z (The product group that the lens belongs to, based on similar shared features.)
    • Lens Model Number: 20072
  • Flash
    • Integrated Flash: false
    • External Flash Mount: Hot Shoe (A cold shoe is a mounting point on top of a camera to securely attach a flash unit or other compatible accessories. A hot shoe is a cold shoe with an electrical connection that insures communication and synchronization between camera and accessory.)
  • Display
    • Screen Size: 3.2 inches (Size of the screen, measured diagonally from corner to corner.)
    • Screen Resolution: approx. 2100k-dot (Screens come in a range of resolutions (measured in pixels, horizontal x vertical). The higher the resolution, the greater the picture quality.)
    • Viewfinder Type: Electronic (A viewfinder is the part of a camera (or attachment) that allows you to see and focus a scene in frame. Optical viewfinders let you view the scene directly through the lens. Electronic viewfinders display the image on a screen in its approximate final form.)
    • Viewfinder Magnification: 0.8 times (The measurement of the apparent size of the image in the viewfinder compared to how it would be seen with the naked eye.)
    • Touch Screen: true (Touch-screen devices make navigating more intuitive. Using a touch-screen display, you can do things such as tap to select, hold and drag to move items, swipe to scroll, and pinch to zoom.)

    Amazing camera with great features!!!

This is my dream camera! The camera has amazing features and the quality of the pictures is amazing! Because of the high mega pixels you can get really beautiful pictures of landscapes, sunsets, and etc! I previously owned a Sony DSLR, and this one is super light compared to that, and I’m really loving my brand new camera!!!

    Love nikon

Love this camera. It can be complex but and an “auto” setting that makes it easy if you’re just starting out and then work slowly to learn more complex feature of the camera. Details are amazing.

    Well worth the upgrade

The Z7 II’s 45.7MP sensor delivers stunningly sharp photos. With dual processors, this camera focuses quickly, and the 10 fps burst mode ensures you won’t miss action shots. Battery life is decent, but not exceptional. Carry an extra battery for longer shoots. The Z7 II shoots 4K video with good quality. However, it lacks some advanced video features. Nikon’s menus can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, customization options abound. Autofocus is reliable for most situations, but not as lightning-fast as some competitors. This camera is solid and weather-sealed. Feels great in hand. It’s an investment, but if you’re serious about photography, it’s worth considering. It's frequently offered at up to 30% below MSRP. Overall, the Z7 II is a versatile mirrorless camera that balances performance and image quality. If you’re upgrading from an older Nikon DSLR or looking to step up your photography game, this camera won’t disappoint!
