There are cases that protect, and then there is OtterBox. This case is great, fits nice and snug, not so thick, and oh man have I dropped it. Sometimes on purpose, and that's how good this is. I wanted to drop it from time to time because nothing ever happened to my phone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you buy one for all of your products that have OtterBox cases.

Great protection.
This item protects my cellular device really well for my moto g Verizon Wireless. I dropped my phone in this case onto the cement on accident and not one crack or scratch was seen after I picked it up and looked at it immediately.
