If it is the Geek Squad accidental protection plan. Then that depends on the cost. I was not told this ahead of time when I bought there accidental protection plan. Only after I called to ask a question about it. But they told me that during my two year plan there is an amount of money that they will fix things for. I'm pretty sure it was the amount my laptop cost which was around $1,800. So while they make it seem like you're completely protected during those two years really you're just protected up to the amount you paid. Anything outside of that amount they make you pay. Or at least that's what they told me
