Brooke, slowness can happen due to a number of issues: 1) Check network speed. Try a LAN line - always 2-3 times faster than wireless or check wireless speed from carrier. 2) Check temp files - need to get a good cleaner. Try Total PC Cleaner - a free app from Microsoft. Also try CCleaner from CNET. Also run Disk Clean from Microsoft. 3) Antivirus - sometimes too aggressive and can slow processing. Check Windows Defender settings? 4) Use CHROME and not EDGE - make sure cache size is large. 5) Limit # of open files and active programs. Minimize what you use simultaneously. 6) Run scan for malware and irritant objects. Use Malicious Software Removal Tool (MSRT) from Microsoft.
