This computer would work great with those programs and you have plenty of storage space to keep the master tracks.

As far as I know, a CPU's benchmark rating is the easiest way to find out how useful it could be for DAW's and plugins. This i5 has a rating just above 7500. It gives enough headroom to run at least one instance of ANY plugin. Most patches by Xfer Serum or U-He Dive run about 20-30% of the CPU. So yeah, it's not absolute top of the line but its probably one of the best values available. Also the hard drive is only 5400 rpms but I haven't had any problems running sample based stuff like Spectrasonics Omnisphere or Keyscape. The RAM is 8gb so it's up to par.
