“Hi. I gifted somebody an Xbox elite controller for their birthday. I also bought the 2 year warranty with it. Is that person able to bring it in themselves to get it exchanged with a new controller, if I give them the plan ID?”

Hi there. Thanks for your great question and sorry for the slow response! Technically, for your security, the plan-holder needs to be there for an exchange. If you're unable to do that, you can give us a call at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 and we can look into changing the plan to his name. I hope this helps out!
