If you purchased a Geek Squad protection plan, take the entire unit back to the store for an exchange. If you didn't buy the Geek Squad protection plan and the warranty on the unit hasn't expired, then you should call Best Buy to see whether you can exchange it at the store or whether you need to contact Nintendo.

Take it back to the store were purchase with original box and accessories and hope for the best you could replace it or get it fix

Hopefully by now you have resolved this issue. I've had no problems with mine. Hopefully you purchased the protection plan and everything will be taken care of.

Check your power cable make sure the docking is connecting and you can charge from it.
also use other Type C USB to see if you can charge the system.

if still not working contact Nintendo switch support. your system should be still cover under warranty.

Did you buy protection plan for 50.00 if so take whole thing back it will be in best buy system and they will fix or switch it out for you
