I was told that mine is covered for data recovery in a clean lab.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The protection plan doesn't cover file recovery. Just covers the product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should cover it. Call geek squad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Usually there will an extra fee for recovery unless the tech is nice enough to recover files for nothing. But, in instances like yours when the drive fails under a short amount of time. I don't see why not. If drive completely failed, depending if the drive is able to power up and or just flat out dead. Then there is a lot of work involved. If still bookable, then a well trained technician (like myself) can get into the drive and pull those files without windows. You need the fine print on your warranty and the terms and conditions. Each company handles problems like this differently when there drive fails and you have sensitive information on that drive. Good luck and this answers your questions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt it. Always have a BACKUP PLAN. Not like a normal hard drive. Might be out of luck.
