Do NOT trust the answer from Geek Squad. I had the same issues and the 5-years plan when I purchased in Aug. 2017 didn't specify if the shelves are covered or not. And it has been specified in the new terms & conditions after Sep. 2017. I contacted the manager at Bestbuy and representatives at Geek Squad multiple times, and they asked me to contact each other a lot. Finally, I've got an answer that they can't cover it because it's a part of cosmetic damage even though the terms & condition doesn't specify it. If it's still arguable that who will be in charge of in case if a container dropped to my baby's head and make a Hazzard if the Geek Squad defines it as the part of cosmetic problems.
