“Will the selector work in reverse? Will this device work in reverse? I am looking to have a single device (my computer) display on one of 2 different TVs. Can I hook the computers output to the "output" on the HDMI selector and have my 2 TVs plugged into ports 1+2 and select which HDMI output is active?”

No, this device will not work in reverse. This unit features multiple input ports, but only one output, so it's not what you're needing. It sounds as if you need a splitter device, and I'd be willing to bet that the Best Buy folks will be able to find you one without any hassle.
