Is your HDMI-CEC turned on in your settings? I have a Samsung too and their CEC option on settings is called Anynet+. Having Anynet+ turned on actually did not work with the HDMI switch. Some people have success with Rocketfish switch, but in my case it would only work intermittently with my Samsung products, which was a deal-breaker for me. I tried two of them and kept having the same problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The system works automatically interns on the port that has the most recent active device turned on example if you turned on your PlayStation it should automatically turn to Port that has the PlayStation this works great with my Vizio TV but I do not have a smart TV. It may be that your smart TV is confusing the device and that may be there cause of the smart Switch not working try smart shooting with the customer support for the product itself, hope that helps you
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may need to get an Edid adaptor to help with the “handshake” between your TV and all devices. Here’s an example of one (note: their are cheaper ones and this example may not be the one you need): https://www.bestbuy.com/site/atlona-etude-sync-edid-emulator-for-4k-hdr-hdmi-signals/5852900.p?skuId=5852900
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This box doesn't support auto switching.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't have to change my settings on my Smart Sony Bravia TV to auto switch between ports. It automatically did it on it's own when ever I turn on my ps4, blue ray, or cable box. Then if I put my ps4 or bluesy in rest mode then it automatically switches back to cable. Maybe you have to change a HDMI input setting on the Samsung tv to auto for it to work. Hope this helps.
