• Our HDMI ports on our LG TV went out and were replaced per our warranty. Then the display board went and they couldn't repair it. It was under warranty so we got a new TV. Will not buy another LG.

• If your tv has a DVI input then yes and no. An HDMI connection connects both the audio and video. A DVI connection only moves video, so when you use this adapter you'll lose the audio portion from the HDMI connection.
