• It should work in any port of the HDMI, you shouldn't have any problems any of the ports but if you do try Port 1 or 4 for your consoles

• This switch (4 port HDMI Selector) lets you switch between 4 different HDMI devices. If your Xbox 1, Nintendo Switch, and cable box all have HDMI interfaces, then this switch will work for you (you will need 1 hdmi cable per device...).
