“Would this work for my Onkyo home theatre receiver? My audio receiver doesn't have enough HDMI inputs on the back of it to support all my devices. Would using the switcher be a good alternative to fixing the problem?”

• Yes it will work. I have done this before and it works pretty good without any latency issues.

• Yes and no. Depends on your receiver and which hdmi version it has. If they don't match you won't get a picture. Had that issue when I used one with my new pioneer.

• That's what HDMI switchboxes like this one are made for. You'll get a separate remote to select which HDMI input from the switchbox on the couch, which makes it painless.
