• Generally no, it will not switch manually since the Chromecast is an always on device. It will only switch when it receives a signal when no other signal is present. You will need to switch manually. While it shouldn't matter, I would probably put one of the Apple TV or Chromecast on the Selector with the DVD player and the other directly to the TV.

• I have experienced that the Apple TV will not queue the Switch to change ports automatically neither will the Chromecast. You will have to use your remote for the change over.
