• If your house is early new you should have sufficient power at the source to operate your ring door bell. Very simple install, two wires.

• Yes, you will need to remove the original doorbell in order for you to install the new ring doorbell. Follow the instructions for a much smooth transition :) Quick and easy!

• If your doorbell is connected to the home wiring, the wired Ring doorbell should work. Read the instructions carefully, as there are some details for safety and you have to jumper a connection in your existing chime to hook it up so it'll work. The biggest disappointment was that it wouldn't work with my existing door chime and it doesn't chime on my echo dot either (though I think it should--probably user error).
