“speaker connections i have a prewired home and currently have the "6s" installed. Iam moving up to the "10s" and read a review that a special connection is needed? Current I have just stripped the wires and plugged and played with no issues. is this true, special connectioins?”

Hello G. Great question. It sounds like you might be changing to the Acoustimass 10 V from the Acoustimass 6 V. Both use the same kind of connector, so you shouldn't need to change anything if they are the same series. Otherwise, you may need the adapter and we can help you with that.
